University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill

The University of North Carolina (UNC) at Chapel Hill Division of General Internal Medicine and Clinical Epidemiology provides both primary and consultative clinical care to the patient population at UNC hospitals and affiliated practices. The Division has over 100 physicians serving 15,000 patients with a wide spectrum of socioeconomic status and education levels. In collaboration with the University’s Sheps Center for Health Services Research, UNC Chapel Hill became a Foundation funded demonstration site in 2005 in order to promote patient-centered high quality care.
